If only you had a picture it would be easier for me to say.
I'm guessing you know how to work with most of the plugs, find the release tab and depress it, then wiggle and finesse it apart. There are some plugs which have a red tab that you have to push sideways before pressing the release tab. If you see a red tab, push / pull it until it comes partway through, then you can depress the tab and wiggle the connector off.
Again all I can give is general info, as I don't know what year your car is or what it looks like

'93 grand am blows fan motor fuse repeatedly. Has after market stereo. Any ideas?

The fan motors on these are cheaply made. You either have a fan that is shorting or a loose/bare wire. Check for loose/bare wires first, if there are none, then replace the fan.

I have a 1994 olds. bravda 4.3, when vehicle is in the off and parked position with the key out of the ignition, the heater fan motor continues to run even with the fan switch in the off position, to stop...

Starting with the cheap, easy repairs first is the way to go. So, that being said, the relay would be the first thing to check. Replace the in-line relay and see if that fixes it

94 honda accord cooling fan fuse keep blowing do i need to replaces fan or search for a bad wire

More then likely will have to replace fan motor, fan motor is weak and asking for to many amps to work, and that will over load and blow the fuse, if it was wiring the fuse would blow right away, replace fan motor.

My radiator fan does not kick on. First, I tested the fan when I pulled it out of the car and it works, second I replaced the coolant temperature sensor and the engine temperature switch, lastly I...

Check the fan motor and fan connection to the motor. If that connection is getting short or loose then fan will not kick ON. Check the motor terminal voltage. It should show exact 12 volt.If less then motor is faulty. First, check for 12-volts to the fan motor when the air-conditioning is on. Also, check the wiring for damage and poor ground connections. The fan is controlled by an integrated controller. You may need a cooling fan motor. If the cooling fan motor is starting to fail, it will pull extra AMPS through the relay causing it to fail prematurely.also check for a faulty radiator cap.If the cap is loose or loosing pressure then then will stop the fan to start. If all checked ok then yes its faulty ecu or ecm:-- Check electrical continuity between the relay and the engine control unit. Connect the red plug at the relay and the other plug at the ECU. If you aren't getting continuity, fix the wiring between the ECU and the relay. If there is continuity, continue to the next step. The ECU is most likely the culprit if you have got to this step. Try replacing with another and fan will work. Thanks. Keep updated for any more query. You can rate this solution and show your appreciation.

Where is the blower located for a 2002 BMW 325i

E30 Models

The blower is accessible by removing the cover at the top of the firewall in the engine compartment.
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. To remove the motor cover, pull off the rubber weatherstrip, cut off wire ties holding the wire that runs diagonally across the cover, unscrew and remove the bolts, and pull the cover aside.
  2. Release the retaining straps, move them to the side, and then remove the blower cover.
  3. Pull off both electrical connectors. Disengage the clamp that fastens the assembly in place by pulling the bottom. Lift out the motor/fan assembly, being careful not to damage the flap underneath.

To install:
  1. The fan and motor assembly is balanced at the factory. Do not disturb the orientation of the fan and motor during installation. Place the fan and motor into the heater and install the clamp.
  2. Connect the wires and install the fan cover. Attach the straps.
  3. Install the outside cover and install the 4 bolts. Install new wire ties on the diagonal wire and replace the weather-stripping. Connect the negative battery cable.

Can't find cooling fan resistor which i was told was located on the fan body. Low fan does not work...have replaced coolant switch at bottom of radiator. High fan comes on when heat gauge is about 3/4....

hi craig cooling fans on those cars have two or three connection wires. two wires means one speed. three wires means two speeds. they work with extra poles in the motor, not with a resistance. when you have a motor with 3 conn. wires and only one speeed, you have to replace the motor. most types haves only one speed. extra speed fan motors where optional for extra heavy duty or high temps. if you have more questions let me know. greetings.

Replace the blower motor.

Under the glove box:

Disconnect the blower motor power transistor electric connector (the transistor is far over to the left, with a curly wire coming down to it.)

Remove the blower motor power transistor mounting screws the remove the transistor.

Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor (slightly to the right of the motor).

Remove the blower motor mounting screws and then remove the blower motor assembly.
(there are, I believe, 3 screws; 1 just below the connector; 1 above the connector, higher up, and slightly to the left; and 1 over to the left of the blower motor)

Remove the circlip from the blower motor shaft to release the fan from the motor.

Installation is reverse.

Hope this helps you deal with it.
