I got 2001 Infinity, knock sensor is stripped where and how much cost??

I have no idea what you mean by stripped, is it the threads that it screws into, I assume it must be. To have this repaired and the sensor installed is about $600.00

How to change oxygen sensor 1988 Chevy s10

22 MM wrench or O2 socket and ratchet. And yes, heat helps to get them out. Just a note. Older O2 sensor can strip the threads coming out. they have a rethread tool at the parts store. You will know right off the bat. Most O2 sensors when broke free will unscrew by hand. If you have to wrench it off, the threads stripped.

I was replacing the crankshaft position sensor on my 2003 kia rio cinco and I stripped out where the bolt goes how well I fix it

You'll need a tap and die to create a new set of threads you most likely will need a wider bolt to fit in the new threads.

How do we install the 02 sensors in the 1999 kia sportage?

when you find the O2 sensor that you are replacing disconnect the electrical plug then using a 7/8" wrench placed around the sensor base turn the sensor counter clockwise looking at it from the top of the sensor. sometimes you have to heat the exhaust pipe around the sensor were it threads in this will help loosen the sensor. keep in mind that sometimes the threads are pulled out/stripped and you will have to run a cleaning tap to clean the threads and you install the sensor in the same place.

Break bolts going into the caliper are stripped need to tap to a 14 mm thread. anyone know a car that uses 14 mm threads on their break pins

I would recommend either replacing the spindle with a salvage yard part that still has good threads, or installing an insert in the messed up one that you currently have. You try and just tap the hole larger and find a larger pin, the caliper probably will not fit over it anyway.

Where is the oxygen sensor located on umy 2000 town car?

A dual exhaust system has 4 Oxygen (o2) sensors. A single exhaust system has 3. As the diagram shows, your #1 sensors are towards the front of the vehicle threaded into the exhaust pipes coming directly off the engine. The #2 sensors are further downstream in the system closer towards the converter and muffler.

NOTE! Sometimes the threads on these strip out when being removed. Go slow at first. If it feels like it's getting tighter instead of looser: STOP and take it to an exhaust shop. They will have the proper tools to deal with it should it strip or break off.

The oxygen sensor is hanging out of the manifold, due to threads messed up. Can this be drilled in tapped to put back in or does manifold and oxygen sensor need to be completely replaced? Is it okay to...

I would be inclined to run the tap in first before drilling as this might just clean up the threads enough to be able to refit the sensor. when tapping remember the manifold might be very hard due to heat so be carefull not to break the tap. If that doesnt work then you use to be able to get thread inserts (use to get them for stripped out spark plugs) but I dont know if you still can. You could always try a scrap yard (dont know where you are but in UK they are called scrap yards) for a second hand manifold.

1996 ford explorer v8 forward o2 sensor bank one. How do you go about replacing this sensor?

As long as you know which one you are replacing it is very easy. Sometime these can be removed by a 22mm wrench but the best way to go is buying a oxygen sensor socket, the socket has a cut in it for the wires to slide in. You simply unplug the sensor and start the removal with the socket. It's easier to remove sometimes if the engine is warm. This keeps you from stripping the threads. When replacing, be sure the threads have anti-seize grease. I work for Bosch and run the line that produces 02 sensors. Buy the aftermarket because they are made the same way, with then same components. It may look a little different but it's just like the OEM if not better.
