Question about 1998 Ford Explorer
I am having a similar problem in that the ac never gets cold and the compressor switches on and off. The thing is when I measure the low side pressure it ranges from low to high (I don't remember the exact numbers but on the gauge the needle dips down into the low range when the compressor is off and up to just into the red high range while it is on). This makes me worry about adding more refridgerant.
Thanks in advance.
Sounds like you have too much in the system already. You need to take it somewhere where they can put the correct amount in. Or, you have a bad compressor.
