It solved the problem for my 2007 Sebring. Put in "ON" position. You see the message flashing "Change Oil". Press accelerator right down to the floor 3 times right after the message starts to flash. Thank you rdebison.

Hope you got a good deal on that oil change. do you believe in coincidence. I can't imagine how an oil change could do anything to stop the engine from starting. So you have to rule out things like starter and fuel pump. to check the fuel pump go to a parts store and buy a can of starter fluid. Remove the top pf the air cleaner box. Have someone spray starter fluid into the opening going to the engine while you are trying to start the motor. If it fires up the pump is bad if not go on to the starter. For the starter locate the relay under the hood (in a fuse box) labeled for the starter. Remove it. Then run a wire from the positive terminal of the battery (careful not to ground to car) and touch where the relay plugged in. One of the points should kick the starter over. If none of them do i would suspect the starter. if all is ok the next possible suspect is the computer. You will need a dealer for this one but some computers have extended warranties because of problems so ask the dealer about it. I just had one replaced for a customer last summer on a 2001 Chrysler T&C and it was covered under warranty. Whole visit was around $200 If this helps please reply and good luck
Try disconnecting neg battery cable for 10 minutes, then plug back in. It should reset the code. Otherwise use an obd2 scanner to reset it. If light is still on, the sensor may be bad. You can check with a voltmeter.
Use Reset button on Right of Steering wheel:To reset CHANGE OIL SOON/OIL CHANGE REQUIRED message on the Message Center, press the SET UP control to access the System Check mode. Press and release the RESET button to display “OIL LIFE % HOLD RESET NEW” is displayed. Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds until “IF NEW OIL HOLD RESET” is displayed. Press and hold RESET button until “OIL LIFE SET TO 100%” is displayed. Good luck and keep me posted and i'll try to explain again in a different way. Harder to tell then to show how to do it.
If you are talking about the change oil message on your cluster. You need to press step until oil change mileage appears on screen and then just press reset.
If you are inquiring about the oil pressure swith on the engine there is no reset procedure. If you just replaced the oil pressure switch and still have no oil pressure, you are going to have to use a manual oil pressure gauge to make sure that you have engine oil pressure. If you have oil pressure with the manual guage there is a problem with the wiring or engine computer.
