Help on Nissan Urvan.Temp rises while running fast but seems to go down on slower speeds. Overheated while goin up slopes due to high revs. What's wrong with it? Also, where is the reservior located?

Check for a viscous fan hub (fan clutch) and if it has one replace it

Check your thermostat and check to see if the electric motor has power or not may be a damaged wire or a fried fan motor,you can also check the fan motor by running a power lead from your battery.good luck

This is normal sometimes when it is cold. However, you should let the engine to run for ~ 2 minutes before you drive away...it will dissappear.

does it sound like there is any compression. remove cover on the right side that covers t-belt see if belt might have broken. if cooling system failed could have blow fuse for cooling fans. causing overheating.

You may need to replace one of your speed sensors. My best bet: have an expert run a computerized report for you. Autozone as a simple one for free. They will let you know in 1 to 2 minutes which one of your sensors has failed. New sensor carries most of the times a 2 year warranty.

Could be lack of fuel pressure. Check if with a mechanical gauge . Make sure the fuel filter is fresh. Also make sure that there are no restrictions in the exhaust system.

160 is not high-thats below warmup temp--the fan sensor has issues etc Vehicle is not gettin to operation temp so hav it diagnosed for free at a parts place-fan motor may be goin bad

Check for collapsing radiator hose on suction side of waterpump when motor revs raised above idle.
Check collant resevoir pressure cap is serviceable,
Check coolant system is properly filled - carry out any bleed off procedure specified to clear any air locks.
Check condition of radiator core:-
1) for blockage of air flow to (bugs/grass etc),
2) and internal blockage to coolant flow,

Replace the thermostat, if all above ok.

Have 1987 nissan sentra wagon 1.6 carb.engine the problem is an idle problem when I start in the morning or when its had time to cool down I depress the accelorator pedel to set the choke and high idle cam...

Check your Ignition timing before anything
check your plugs see what color they are
red or orange means carb is to lean , black
or oil means to rich then you can go from there
and set mixture screws on carb , let me no how you make out .
