Should i change the timing belt of 2001 acura 3.2TL which has 86k millage?

Most manufactures recommend changing Timing Belts @ 100k Kilometers. For low milage vehicles, 7 years is usually the limit. It would be wise to change it soon so that you don't suffer expensive repairs if it does break.

the recommended ?? milage for renewing belt on these is between 100,000 -120,000 miles but again this is a recommended time/milage so if you are close to this milage ? i would advise renewal also make sure water pump shows no sign of impending leakagewhilst changing belt and tensioner

When do the cam belts require changing. Is the change time based or milage based

they say 100,000 miles now, i still think that 50,000 how it was 10-15 years ago is still right, milage based, I think waiting 100,000 is to long not worth losing motor over belt

When should i change timing belt and what else should be done at the same time

Depending on the milage and type of timing belt. If you have a medal chain around 100.000 a belt 50.000. Its never a bad idea to change the plugs, wires, pcv valve, clean the idle air control valve and fuel injectors.
