Check engine light is back on on a Hyundai Accent 2005

I bought my Hyundai Accent 2005 two months ago with a check engine light on. I took battery off and put it back on and it was gone for a week, but now it's back on. The clock was not working and now it works and it stops, on and off.. Please help me or tell me what to do.. Thanks all

Most major automotive parts stores will read the check engine light codes for free. That will lead you into the direction of what needs to be repaired. Clock would most likely not be related to the check engine light..

I fixed my Hyundai engine light. is it gonna pop up again?

all you did is remove it from the PCM memory ,if its a hard code it will be back, scan it if it comes back and find out what the code is ,then fix it not just erase it and disconnecting often can only lead to bad things happening , and bigger problems with computer ,that's called a no no

Dont drive a car with the light flashing. A flashing check engine light means that something is really wrong and you can damage the engine if you drive it.

Even though you replaced the sensor, and the light went out, the computer still retains the original codes until the codes are cleared using a scan tool. It's possible the computer has put the engine in a reduced power mode because the trouble codes haven't been cleared.

Help! 2003 Hyundai Accent problems. Transmission??

well the first thing you need to do is to pull the stored codes in the computer and see what they say and then go from there, this could be a speed sensor or a trany going bad , i dont know if this is an automatic or standard trany, start with the codes from the check engine light, autozone car parts store will scan the computer at no charge,
