Hyundai santa fe engine stalls 54 petrol

Code meanning low speed can communication bus not sure what that is

crankshaft position sensor faulty...works until it gets hot then shuts down entire engine until it cools. replace the sensor.

Check all vacuum lines. Must be tight fit with no cracks. Cheap to replace.

Average for a V6 engine 2 wheel drive model is 20mpg. That is 20 miles per gallon US.
If you have an 18 gallon tank, you could expect 180 miles on a half tank of fuel. Again, this is US measurements.

I had a similar problem with my Santa Fe. It occurred intermittently but after I turned the steering wheel to the left. After much screwing around by the dealer and trying to baffle me with BS we heard about a strange solution. I am not a mechanic but the problem somehow related to a spring in the Airbag on the steering wheel. Changed the spring and "Stone the flame'n crows" problem solved. Never had a problem since.

more than sure,o2 senser+catl conv,nothing else.

Try another place. Independant garage. Conveters don't make the engine race

bad abs sensor on one of the wheels would be my guess.

it is probably going into a fail safe mode, get it to a dealer and have it scanned for dtc's
