Do you own a multimeter and a test light? Can you perform some diagnostics on the battery, continuity check on the ground and (+) cable and at the fuse box. Your symptoms sound like that of a low battery or poor electrical connection. Please write back with questions and new information. Good Luck.

Sounds very much like a low battery condition.

clean battery posts and cable ends and make sure to tighten securely when done

Are your cooling fans coming on? Should come on as soon as engine is warm and you turn on FULL MAXIMUM AC with the temp controller on COLD. don-ohio

A mechanic would check for voltage at the battery, the starter, the neutral safety switch, and the key switch.

timing chain could have jumped timing if you hear timing chain noise.

There are few reasons why the 'flow' between reservoir and engine doesn't operate properly. However, in relation to that if you hear a noise coming from the front of the engine I would suspect first the water pump. Have the pump check as soon as possible to avoid engine overheat and severe further potential damages to the engine if my diagnostic is right. In all the cases, if the engine overheats (check your temperature gauge or warning light) stop the engine right away and let it cool down before to continue your road. If by coincidence or bad timing it's really alternator that makes noises it's that the bearings are bad then the alternator has to be replaced.
