Could be a TPS sensor. They may or may not code. But it also sounds like a loose connection. Also check for 5lb keyring in ignition switch.

You could see if Autozone or Oreillys will scan it, they do it free. Check to see if you are under warranty and make it dealers problem.

No solution. Just got the EXACT same issue last weekend. myfordfreestyle notes said to remove air intake and clean throttle body with basic tb cleaner. seemed to help, but getting some more engine reving during routine shift into park situations.

Any ideas out there? =H

TSB 08-9-7 says to reprogram powertrain control module to latest calibration IDS release B54.8and higher or B55.1 or higher. This has been an issue for some time now.
