2006 Chrysler 300C changed battery and now horn wont stop blowing how do I reset this alarm?

Have you tried putting the key into the ignition switch and starting the car ?

In some vehicles, you can place key into driver door cylinder and manually lock / unlock which may turn horn off.

How to reset anti theft system on 2006 Chrysler 300. No sound when starting engine. Engine doesnt crank.

This may be accompanied with the power door locks not working also. You may be able to reset it by pulling the fuses in the underhood fuse relay center. The fuse or fuses that may reset the system are sitting in special holders in the relay center that have little clips on the side. They will look different from the other fuses as they have their own little holders. Pull them up and reseat them. Hope this helps

I have a Chrysler 300 (2005) Tourning. The car will not crank up. The lights, and radio will turn on. Do you have any ideas?

Check the fuses first. Especially, look for a fuse for the starter or starter solenoid or just solenoid. If the fuses are all fine, make sure that the security system is being properly disarmed. i.e. are the batteries in the remote dead? is the key dirty or otherwise malfunctioning? if the alarm seems to be disarming properly, then it's time to troubleshoot the starter motor....

You are correct on the security light, it is the VTA (vehicle theft alarm). I am at a loss for the culprit part though, and their are so many diagnostic tests that could be run.
Even a malfunction in the key FOB could cause it. If you have another key FOB try using that one to arm and disarm the alarm after making sure the hood, trunk, and all doors are securely closed.
If that doesn't work you may want to try to obtain an OBDII scanner and see if it comes up with anything to help narrow the problem down.
