As you can see from the diagram, There are too many wires to do what you are proposing. The part I am showing you does not include the tumbler lock set.

This shows you the lockset and it is generic but it also shows you the pushbutton module and it is almost 300 dollars. You are better off going to a dealer and having them supply the parts to get the vehicle back in the condition that it was in before it was damaged.

SOURCE: how can i replace the wheel barrings in a 2003 kia spectra

Well I had this issue and the only way these can be replaced is by a machine shop who will pack new barrings with a high pressure machine. The practical thing to do is to get a whole new hub assembly(the metal assembly by the brakes) from a salvage yard or online since this may very well be cheaper. The tool to replace the hub can be rented at Auto zone.

SOURCE: inhibitor switch

eh , Automatic transaxel Range (TR) switch , can also be referred to as the Inhibitor Switch , personally i would call it the neutral safety switch , anyway you can find the "inhibitor" switch on top left side of transaxel , it goes over the shifter shaft coming out of the trans where the shifter cable bolts onto . Looks like a 1/4 of a circle . cheers mate

SOURCE: Kia spectra wont start

it is probably the starter assuming the engine isnt locked up. I would check to see if you have battery voltage at the starters solenoid wire with the key in the start position if you do i would check the fuses and starter relay

SOURCE: my 2003 kia spectra stalls

Hi,
It might have a partially blocked fuel line or ait intake supply.

  • Try to check your fuel filter.
  • The seive on the fuel pump.
  • The fuel injectors might be dirty.
  • The air cleaner might be clogged
or the fuel sensor might be malfunctioning.
Try to check the compression, it might be loosing compression when you demand the engine to move the vehicle.
