My 01 lincoln towncar- i turn on the a/c it says it is turned on but it does not blow any air what could it be ?

If it does not blow any cold air the system may need to be recharged. But if it does not blow any air at all you may have a bad blower motor, checked the fuses first to make sure it's not that. You may also have a wiring problem. Good luck.

1989 LINCOLN TOWNCAR LOST POWER SEEMED HAD IT

if you sqirt a little gas or starting fluid in tthe air intake and it starts for a few seconds then the igjition is probably ok since it was stored so long you could have lots of water int the gas tank or bad gas... you could have a clogged fuel filter or bad fuel pump . you can have a pressure/volume test done on the fuel pump.. that will also test the fuse and fuel filter .. wow only 54k miles ..

Inflating rear air springs on 1995 Lincoln Towncar

Just keep the wheels off the floor and turn the ignition on to let the compressor start filling the springs. When they have a decent amount of air in, turn it off again and lower the car to the floor and start it again to let it settle its self!

But if you do hit over heating circuit which you normally do just wait 10-15mins and it will work again.

Overheating and stalling

Check the fuse and relay for the cooling fan before it overheats again so you don't blow the head gasket on the motor. After you replace the fuse/relay let it idle keeping an eye on the temperature gauge, make sure as it reaches a little over half way the cooling fan should come on. If it does'nt then your coolant temp sensor may be at fault. Good luck and be safe.

Fuse #12 for 2000 lincoln towncar keeps blowing

fuses are a safety device. they are made to blower when to much load is drawn over them. some component on the circuit is shorting out. if possible unplug all the items on that circuit. put in a new fuse, then reconnect component one at a time until the fuse blows again. a process of elimantion. it may take some time, but it will be expensive to take it to a dealership.
