Did you get two keys from the locksmith? Ford takes two different keys to reprogram the security. If neither key works, I would call the locksmith back. You should have a warranty. I personally don't mess with locksmiths when it comes to Ford. Dealer only.

This is not an unusual problem with late model Fords. The computer that runs the show has problems. A Ford dealership that has, this is important, a full service diagnostic computer that can reprogram your computer will work only. Call first as most will tell you they can diagnose everything. Not true. They did not buy a big enough devise from Ford as all the can do is read codes. In yours codes needs to repeat 5 to 8 errors before it will trip a computer reaction. Try this first as it might get you too the dealership without towing. Disconnect the Battery' Positive Post and take a screw driver as an extension and short the positive to the Negative Post for about 10 to 15 seconds. It should delete the codes long enough for you to get to the proper dealership. Did you program the key fobs or the dealership? Vic

Or a bad connection in the new key and fob. Put the old key near the new key and try again.

Th old keys were lost so I can't match them with new keys. I did find power beyond the fuse able link. Once I turn the key, I get no response. No clicking, no dash lights.

Does the new key have door open and close buttons? If so then it will have a battery to power that function and an immobiliser chip. That chip can only be matched to the immobiliser chip in your car by a Ford dealer. Usually, if the key breaks, or the plastic fob cracks, you have the key cut and you put the old module and battery from the old key fob into the new one. First job is to check that the battery is seated properly, and if that doesn't work, replace the battery. If no joy with that, then you have to visit a dealership.

I have a Lexus and broke my key. I purchased a blank key with an empty fob. When I got the key cut, just for fun, I tried to start the car without the module in it. Of course, nothing happened because of the immobiliser. When I put the old key near the ignition switch, it did start.

Make sure battery has a full charge. With everything off, use digital multimeter leads across battery posts, the generic spec is around 12.6 volts. Leave the leads hooked up, have helper turn key to crank, what is the reading? If the circuit is closed to the starter, shouldn't drop below 9.6 volts, some makes and models, it shouldn't drop below 10 volts. You get the picture, if drops way low, that won't work.
I'd have to check generator output and battery.

I would start at the key switch and check for power there.
It's possible the switch is not turning completely on or to start.

Double check the battery positive connection wiring carefully as it commonly has connection problems when the battery is changed.

My 2004 f150 wont turn over

Have you checked your battery? Not knowing the full story about your truck, I would guess battery. Check wires running to starter for power also it could possibly be a fuse.

My car started dying and now hasnt enough charge to start

sound like bad battery cables.replace them.the positive battery cable is old and have a lot of resistance not allowing power to the alternator to charge battery.if battery cable good check alternator connector wires.make sure they are not damage also check alternator fuse and fuse link.turn off radio before removing battery wires so you wont lose radio code.

04 chevy 2500HD start relay /Circuit braker turns off @ key crank

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery connections all good. Any fuses in the diagram, test for voltage, some are hot all the time, some go hot with the key on.
Use a digital multimeter across battery posts, everything off, the generic spec for a full charge is around 12.6 volts. Leave the leads hooked up to battery, have a helper turn key to crank, how far does it drop? In my opinion it shouldn't drop much under 10 volts, I wouldn't argue with 9.6 volts.
