SOURCE: Replacing the tail light
Look inside behind the light and see if there is an access cover, if not you will have to remove the tail lamp to replace the bulb. If you open the rear hatch and look at the lamp you should see a couple of screws that hold the lamp to the car. Remove these and pull the light out.

if the lite cover has no screws the access is in the boot pull back the boot/trunk carpet and you should see a cover over the tail lites access should be through there

SOURCE: 93 GMC Suburban, No Tail Lights
Check the trailer plug ground first. If in doubt. Ground in another location. Make sure the area is free of rust and the ground is tight.

well i hope its not full of fuel, remove the filler neck from the car should be 3 bolts by the fuel door, there will also be a ground cable up by thefuel door to remove, next you will have to remove the two straps that hold the fuel tank up slowly lower it as you will have fuel lines and elctrical plugs that need to be detached, the fuel lines have quick fittings, you can buy a tool at auto stores to make removing them easier, un plug the wires., once the tank is out there is a snap ring holding hte fuel pump in the tank. taking a hammer and small drift turn the ring this will release the sending unit, so that you can instull the new one, now reassemble
