Remove battery and battery support you'll be able to undo starter bolt's trough there and slip starter out.

Testimonial: "This didn't help, because you had to remove the engine structural collar under the starter to get at the starter bolt. It was more complicated."
There are 2 small passages with square headed type socket screws . Look
on drivers side of block behind where the breather hose goes to the
airbox. You'll need to remove the airbox. They are slightly smaller
than a 1/4" drive extension.
It is very hard to try to reach the sensor from under the car. you can removed the battery, air box, also moved the fuse box aside just a bit to get more room to work (not necessary though). After removing/moving those parts you'll have plenty of room to work with. Simply disconnect the electric connection and remove the sensor with a socket. The part was $11.99 at Kragen with a lifetime warranty! (not just a dealer only item :]) The socket isn't a special socket its just a 27mm ($9.99) deepwell. I hope this helps someone, overall the job wasn't hard so no need to pay anyone to do it for you!
If your arms are long enough, you can access it top passenger side and reach way down and you won't have to remove anything! Its good to put her up on ramps to get and idea where it is, then take her off and do the repair. Forgot to mention unlocking the electrical connection by pushing the slide lock to the side.
Good luck and hope this help and keep me posted.
