No. The check valve is built internal to the fuel pump. It is designed to maintain fuel pressure in the line so the fuel doesn't bleed back into the tank

if you are having a problem filling it with fuel replace the canister vent solenoid it vents the fuel tank

SOURCE: fuel pump fuse keeps blowing. replaced fuel pump , still blows,disconected air bypass valve, still blows, doesn't blow if i disconect the fuel tank wiring plug. how can i test the sending unit wir
You must change the mounting round plate that hold the fuel pump in place, I'm 100% sure that were the problem is, you needs to buy the fuel pump assembly came with the plate good lck.
