Question about Pontiac Cars & Trucks
I was driving and 1of my belts came off. I replaced it but it keeps coming off. It's a oily substance around the belts and components. What could be the problem?
Check all the pulleys on that belt. One is bad. Oil doesn't help, but shouldn't be the problem of the belt coming off.

I have a 97 Bonneville, you have to undo the passenger side engine mount. No joke.

If you don't see a diagram under your hood somewhere, just put it around the crank pulley, and go "ribs to ribs, flat to flat" , and work your way around.
