How do I remove the radiator from a 1986 buick century 2.5 engine?

This is a mechanical job and can be worked out according to the tools available at your end with the ground experience. The radiator is normally bolted in the front chassis which fits the front grill and merges with the front side panels. You need to remove the grill if access if to be efffective . so start from the front grill fitting and you will get access to the side fittings of the radiator which can be removed. The connecting hoses on the top and bottom must be carefully removed and hoses removed finally to lift up the radiator.

Fig. 5: Retainer clip used to secure the front grille
  1. Raise the hood and support it with the prop rod.
  2. On 1981-94 models, remove the retainer screws from around each headlight.
  3. Remove the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. Using a small prytool to press the tab on each of the grille retainer clips at the top of the grille upward while pulling the grille away from the radiator support.
  5. When all the tabs have been released, lift the grille up slightly and out to remove.
To install:
  1. Engage the lower portion of the grille into the radiator support.
  2. Carefully push the grille toward the radiator support, making sure the retainer clips align with their respective mounting hole. Once all the holes align, press the grille and retainer in until it clicks into position.
  3. Install the retainer screws from the corners and center of the grille.
  4. On 1981-94 models, install the retainer screws around the headlight.

Hope helps (remember rated this).

Isufician air flow what does it mean

Clogged air filter/air intake; also it can mean your radiator grill is very dirty (leaves/pine needles/dirt)

Change your air filter, use a spray gun on a garden hose to spray out your radiator/a/c coils, see if that does the trick.

Hope this helps.

This is out of my 06 Murano manual, hope that it helps.

REMOVAL
1. Apply protection tape around outer circumference of front grille (bumper fascia side).
2. Remove front grille-radiator cover clips and remove front grille-radiator cover.
3. Remove clips on upper side of front grille.
4. Remove clips of air duct and remove air duct. Refer to EM-16, "AIR CLEANER AND AIR DUCT" .
5. Pull out grille pawls, and remove front grille assembly.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

good luck

Same problem with grill bubbling what to do 2004 niss murano

I've decided to "black" mine out with a high gloss black. First I'm going to take the grill off & see if I can use airplane paint remover on a small area to remove the coating that is bubbling.

If so, then i'll primer the surface & repaint it as is since it should be smooth after the remover works and I scrape it down and wash it clean.

You could then leave it once the clearcoat is removed, re-coat it with clearcoat, or paint it any color, even to match. Automotive spray paint is available at auto-parts stores for this type of material, just get the right can of spray paint.

If I find the paint remover won't work without hurting the actual grill, I'll use some fine grit sandpaper and prep the surface, then primer it and paint it high gloss black. Color choice is optional of course!

Maybe this will help.

How do i remove the grille to get to my radiator in a 97 tacoma

You do not need to remove the grill to remove the radiator.

If you want to remove the grille, you have to remove the two side marker lights, and then depress the tabs that locate the grill to the radiator support. Using a long tin screwdriver, depress the small tab downbward, and pull on the grill to let the grill slide off of the retainer. Start at one end, and work your way across. The retainers will stay connected to the radiator support.
