O4 nissan maxima is blowing hot air from AC unit, i had leak repaired. Could it be a bad Ac relay or Compressor?

what was replaced?? to fix your issue??need more info. I have 04 max my self and very common issue is the low side ac line leaking. you need to look at the front of the ac compressor if the whole thing is spinning with ac on. if the whole clutch is not turning and the pulley ONLY is, than the ac is not turning on and it could be several things. anything from low charge, to low side pressre switch issue, or major leak somewhere.

How to force run the AC compressor to recharge AC in 2001 Infiniti QX4?

this will be a bad move as you are wasting money on a system that has a leak
until you fix that leak the gas is wasted
next by allowing gas into the system , the ac compressor will switch on when the pressure is sufficient
to see of the ac compressor is running simply look at the plate in front of the pulley and if it is spinning ,it is working
best advice , have an accredited ac shop check it out first.

Ac compressor

When you say "fire" I'm going to assume you mean power. The AC compressor gets power from a large 12 to 10 gauge wire from the electrical distribution box; from a 20 - 30 amp fuse, up through the dash A/C controls including the thermostat, a low refrigerant pressure switch and electric clutch on the AC's pulley.
Any of these parts that have failed, opened or detected somethig wrong - will prevent the the clutch from engaging - to allow the belt to turn the AC pulley.
Check the easy stuff first like fuses. Use a test light to help trace the power to the point that it no longer is present. Make repairs as needed. If the pressure switch is not allowing power out, that means the refrigerant charge has leaked out to a level below what is needed to run. A simple recharge will fix this - at least temporarily. A large leak will cause the switch to open again and will require a repair of the leak before going any further. That's where it can get expensive. Locating the leak, accessing it and repairing or replacing parts is where the real expense lies.
Good luck!

Why would my ac on a 2002 jetta just stop blowing cold air?

There are a variety of reasons. If there is a slow leak on your AC lines, once the pressure falls below a certain value, the compressor cut-off switch will no longer allow it to come on. Many times when a car stops blowing cold air, it has to do with either the AC compressor or a leak in the lines, though there are other possibilities.

If you take your car down to a Pep Boys, you can ask for a free AC check and they will check the pressure on your lines. If there is appropriate pressure, then you can tell generally that it is a component of your AC system, most likely the compressor. If there is no pressure, you can have them refill the freon, but bear in mind that it will eventually leak out again unless you have them find the leak and fix it.

2005 Jaguar X-Type Ac compressor leaking who to fix

Any leak or damage due to ac compressor failure may cause serious damages. For preventive maintenance, keep track of the part's working conditions to prevent compromising the functionality of other engine components. Good thing premium quality factory equivalents to your stock ac compressor are conveniently available for specific vehicle applications. As the part constantly handles the harsh fluids and tough working conditions, structural weaknesses of conventional ac compressor replacements have been addressed in constantly improving the functionality of the part. When looking for the right compressor replacement, putting you money on quality and durable products is advised.

The AC not working wil not affect the engine coolant temperature. The engine cooling system is a seperate system fromthe AC system on your vehicle.
The AC could simply have a small leak and the refridgerant has leaked down and needs to be replaced. If that is the case you can have what is called a "pep charge" performed and you will have AC working again until it leaks back down. Before you ask, I can't tell you how long that will take because it depends on the sevarity of the leak(s). Might be a couple of days might be a year. That should generally be about $40 or less depending on how much refridgerant they need to add to your system.
Of course you may have AC components that have failed such as a compressor. This will be an expensive repair. There is no way around this. Usually when a compressor goes out, you need to replace the compressor, receiver/dryer, orifice tube, all of the refridgerant, and have the system flushed. This is costly.
Many shops have proper AC equipment and properly trained techs that can peform an AC diagnostics for $40-$50 (in my area) that takes about an hour or so. This will tell you if the refridgerant is low, indicating a leak, or if your compressor or other component is not functioning properly.
At my shop when a customer pays for the Diagnostic and we find that the system is low on refridgerant. We offer to re-fill the system (customer has to pay additional for the refridgerant of course but no more labor) and add a special UV dye to the system. Then I ask that the customer drive the vehicle for a couple of days with the AC running then return. I can then use a special UV light and glasses to find the leak point on the AC system by locating the point where the dye leaked out. This is all included in the initial diagnostic charge and does not take too much time.
From there we make the decision of whether to fix the leak or not. Often times the leak is repaired for minimal cost as the leak ponts are commonly very inexpensive parts.

sorry it has a leak ,only way to fine it is to use the correct machine and vacumn it out ,then turn machine off and listen for a sucking sound ,most likely cause is the flexible hoses/compression fittings or the seal on the front of the AC compressor ,if you still cannot find the leak then fill AC with a special dye and use a ultra violet light and yellow glasses to find the leak .

Air compressor does'nt kick in

you may have a leak in your ac system. its possible that the previous owner charged the ac to help sell the car. most newer cars have a sort of safety switch to protect the compressor from damage. if the ac pressure is too low, the compressor wont turn on. have a shop do a quick check of the pressure. it only takes a minute or so. if it is low, then thats definitely your problem. you will need to have the leak fixed and the ac recharged for it to work properly.

AC repair and busted Compressor bolt.

You can install the parts I am sure without professional help, but you will need to have the system pulled down with a vacuum pump to remove all air and moisture, also u will need to replace the accumulator/drier canister an the fixed orfice. always use new seals, never reuse old seals, if the AC has been contaminated flush it with AC flushing fluid, if u don't the new/rebuilt compressor will fail, also if the accumulator is not replaced the AC compressor warranty will be voided, so keep the receipt's
