Screwed up trailer wiring harness is an often cause of this. Wires shorted inside the wiring harness is often it.

Check your flasher relay, I believe it's in junction box 1 under the hood above the battery. Good chance that is all it is. Most part shops should let you try a new one versus spending 30 to 50 on a new one and have that not be it.
Unless you did some wiring, that should be the issue.
