SOURCE: 2005 chevy silverado won;t start.

i had the same problem, and it turned out the coil pack was moulding inside wich stopped the spark all together, i ended up changing my coil pack and putting on new wires because the ends connected to the coil were very corroded and that cures the not running part just fine

SOURCE: 01 Chevy Silverado 4 X 4 not working. 4WD light

Having the same exact problem but with my 1999 escalade. Thought it was the actuator bought a new one installed it transfer case would engage but front end wouldnt lock. Took it out of housing left it plugged in got a friend to go through all the 4wd for me and the plunger never moved out the actuator. Checked my wiring harness which is a four prong ann it had one hot prong like it is suppose to. Traced wires even replaced dash switch same problem. Taking it to local dealership tom to have it checked for codes. I was told it could be the transfercase actuator even though its workin that actuator is what sends power to the front to engage the actuator to lock the differential.

How do I fix the front bumper of a 2005 Chevy silverado 1500

Hi Van, Im AL the owner of Big As Auto Repair.

Van, you can fix this yourself. If you have a metal bumper and the piece hanging down is plastic, here what you can do. Go to Harbor Freight and buy a bottle of Guerrilla Glue, this stuff will fix anything. CAUTION: Do not get any on you hands because that's how strong it is. You'll need to hold it in place for a few minutes OR tape it up until it dries. Hope this helps and please visit my auto-repair-website: http://www.bigasautorepair.com/
