Ask parts store to show you location chart. Generally, the coolant temp sensor will be near the thermostat housing.

the first thing to check is the cooling fan relays under the hood. replace those and it will more than likely solve the problem. the temp sensor is generally located near the thermostat housing.

Where is the oxygen o2 sensor located on 2004 impala bank 1

I have a 2002 Impala with 3.8L, and just replaced my Bank1 O2.
It is located between the firwall and the middle of the engine, straight down past the spark plugs. Maybe 12 inches from the top of the engine.
As I recall the plug for the sensor is clipped to a bracket at about spark plug level.
I recommend using the crow foot style wrench to remove and install.

Try changing the tempature coolent sensor first it may have got gunk on it when you got the system flushed and if that dont work you should take the radiator out and have it profesionally cleaned to take all the gunk that could be clogging up the blades inside of it and not letting air cool the fluid if that makes since to you.. if you have any more problems just ask away
