This is a machine fit bearing...after removing the half-shaft, you will need to take the assembly to your parts store...

When you put p/w steering fluid in did you notice any leaks on or around p/w steering lines? Have you had to replace the fluid on a regular bases? The clicking noise while turning could be cv axles have you checked them?

I have a 99 monte carlo LS that is making rattling noises coming from my front wheel drive. I do believe its my cat converter but not 100% sure. Also my car losses power going up hills and accelerates...

check your fuel filter either by the rear axle or on the left side of the vehicle approximately under the drivers seat of the frame(under the car). if the "cat" is rattling, its not a bad idea to get replaced anyways.

How to install rear shocks for 1970 monte carlo

Two half inch bolts at top, large bolt through bottom. Support the axle or it will drop when you get the bolts out.Use lots of solvent and let it soak before working unless you have a decent cutting torch and know how to use it.

Replacing the rear axles on my 1987 monte carlo

You will have to remove the rear end cover then turn over by hand you will see a metal pin going through the smaller spider gears in the center there should be a small bolt there with a 5/16 head remove the bolt and then the metal pin then push in ward on the axles and a c plip will fall out only do 1 side at a time and do not rotate the axles other wise the gears will fall out and you will have another problem.
