I'm having the same problem and the solution to fix both problems is the replacement of the clockspring, located behind the steering wheel. Not a hard fix, just remove the airbag ( unhook battery for at least an hour prior to removing airbag to de-energize it so it doesn't go boom on you) then remove steering wheel and there it is. All wires are color coded in such a way to make it very easy. Now for not the so easy thing is your gonna have to order it directly from ford or get lucky like i did and get it on ebay. Hope this helps!!!!!

SOURCE: 2005 ford taurus horn just doesn't work. I've

The problem can be with the horn pad, the horn relay or the horn itself. Find your horn relay, it should be in the engine compartment fuse box. Remove the relay and test for power at the legs. there should be two legs that have power. If there is power there, take the cover off the relay and plug it back in. Squeez the relay points together and see if the horn works. If the horn still does not work, it is probably the horn itself. If it does work it is probably the horn pad, but you don't want to mess with that because of the air bag. Let a pro do it.

All of this is predicated on the fact that you have checked all the fuses.

Hope this helps

Where is fuse for cruise control?

Fuse #19 (15 amp) controls the cruise control. It also powers the horn so check your horn. If it works then check the cruise controls ground. If the fuse is good BUT the horn still doesn't work, then check the horn relay, as it also powers the cruise control. Check all wires/connections going to these parts also.

check the horn fuse in the fuse box. you have two horns. I don't think both horns would break down at the same time.

My horn doesn't work, neither does my cruise control help anyone i need to get my car inspected ASAP

For inspection you shouldn't need the cruise to work but for the horn have you checked the fuse? or relay? Another thing to look for is are the wires both connected to the horn? if all that checks out check and see if power is getting to the horn and also check in the steering wheel to make sure nothing happened there.

2006 ford taurus cruise control not working

I would get the owners manual out and find out where the fuse is for the cruise control cause there is a pickup switch for the cruise under the hood by the throttle body when it is engaged you don't have to have your foot on the pedal
