The compressor is seized,
check it by and , feel that , it hard to turn.
the belt smokes you meant. if belt is ok, then seized it is.
i bet the line pressures is zero and or the hi/switch was bypassed.

Check the voltage to the clutch ( it should read 12 volts)
check that the shaft will actually turn as the compressor may be seized inside

Thanks for your answer yeah you were right I put a load under it while I was standing in front of the air conditioner comp. nthe engine and the timing belt was basically sliding over the clutch as it would fly in and fly out releasing the high pressure from me air conditioner. So my guess is that the notary clutch and or compressor is bad. Thanks CC

not necessarily. if the clutch cycles then I would suspect a blockage in the tx valve, or excess gas in the system, may be even a blocked receiver/drier
best thing is to find an accredited ac specialist and have the fault properly diagnosed as compressor are very expensive, if that is not the fault
and it is a drive belt not a timing belt
belts come in different widths if "V" belt so ensure that the back of the belt is level or above the ac pulley flanges
if it is low in the pulley then get a correct belt or change the ac pulley.

Lpg install will okay for 2005 jeep cherokee renegade?

I doubt if there are LPG kits available for Diesel engine? LPG is for petrol engines only. However there are other kits available which will partially use LPG and diesel to run engine, these are not popular.

Where is the fuel filter located on a 2005 Jeep Liberty 3.7L renegade

This year and model does not have a stand alone in-line filter, the filter is on the suction side of the fuel pump inside the fuel tank and under normal conditions is only replaced when the pump is replaced (comes with the new pump). This true of all late meodel Chyrsler Products.

2005 jeep liberty renegade, heater fan only works on setting #4.

It's a common problem with Jeeps. You need a new switch. For some reason they burn out and are dangerous. Could cause a fire.
