Question about 2001 Volkswagen Passat
So far on the volkswagen passat I have tried to smack the starter with a hammer, while i had another person trying to turn the key over and Nothing occured. When the key is in the ignition it sounds like it may be an electrical problem and just makes a sound. I am unable to reach the started because of the right swing arm, Is in the the same position of the started and i am just confused at this point on where i should start. Thanks Again Stephan.
You can by pass the starter and it is called push starting it
there is no by pass and the real answer is to replace the starter
Take it to an accredited auto electrician or a service dealer and have it done properly
