My pc150 has a real hard time starting when it gets below half a tank but when it's full of fuel it has no problem starting. It's like it losses prime or something but I can't find any leaks anywhere

When tank is below 1/2 full the car is hard to start and when driving it seems to lose power. My check engine light does not come on.

the problem maybe a problem with fuel pickup at 1/2 tank, if the line has blockage, the filter is clocked up, the leveling or device that keeps track of fuel level is defective, there issue with the floater, the part that suppose to float has or full of fuel and when it gets to 1/2 tank, the floater full of fuel and sinks like your out of gas.
i think most likely clogged fuel filter in the fuel tank if your car has this type of system.
if not the fuel filter most of the time its near intake of the injectors, underneath the drivers seat under the car.
or by the inlet and outlet of the fuel tank.

Ryobi brushcutter runs good on full tank gas but at a half a tank it starts spitting and sputtering...why

CK for split fuel lines. You can ck when fuel is low by trying to prime with bulb, if you see air bubbles in line , split line in tank.

1998 dodge stratus stalls while driving if gas tank is half empty

You need to check fuel pressure carefully. This happens when tank is so full of dirt that the pump screen gets clogged. After sitting down several minutes, some of the dirt settles and the car can be restarted, but happens again. Refrain from starting to change every sensor without knowing what is the real cause, because you could be thowing money and not fixing it. Aldo check pressure regulator is functioning correctly. Car stuttering under accelleration

it sounds like the pump is losing prime could be a hole in the pickup tube or the pump may just be strugling to keep up.i have herd of people installing a fuel pump booster to up the amperage getting to the pump to fix a issue like this, i would try replacing the fuel filter and run real good fuel system cleaner through it first.
there are other things that could cause this to like a ignition module or coil packs.but always start with the simple stuff first you could spend a small fortune replacing parts and still not fix it. sorry for writing a book just hope it helps.

I have a 2000 gmc sonoma when the gas gets below a half tank its hard to start it will also die while ur driving it and it backfires when you try to start it but only when it gets below a half tank

There is a metal chamber that is in the fuel pick up line about 1/2 way up designed to take the pulsation out of the pump.If the o rings are bad or the pump has been changed (some mechanics take the pulsator out and replace it with fuel line but if they didn't use fuel injection line it will only last like a few months.)
Either way sounds like the tank has to come out.

I HAVE A AUDI A6 2.8 PETROL MANUAL. I RECENTLY RAN OUT OF PETROL AND NOW EVEN AFTER PUTTING 15 LITRES IN THE TANK IT STILL WONT START

try quick start to get it started. Alot of times when you run out of fuel the pump looses its prime. If you cant get it started you may of overheated the fuel pump by allowing it to run dry. Try smacking the gas tank hard a few times, this sometimes frees up the pump if its stuck.

Where is my fuel pump at? on a 1995 chevy camero 3.4 yes ran the car out of gas put so in wont start now what should i do first

Your fuel pump is in the tank. Turn on the ignition, and listen if you can hear the pump run in the tank. It will only run a few seconds if the engine is not running. You can repeat this several times to prime the fuel injection.

My explorer ran out of gas, i filled it up to about a half a tank, now it just turns over but wont start

if it's fuel injected, look on the fuel rail for a schrader valve--looks just like a valve stem on a tire but shorter.remove cap, again just like on a tire.turn key to on-push valve stem in as if to let air out if you get air, then gasoline, you have just bled the system.replace cap, start car.if you get no gas, remove gas tank cap, turn on key, listen for ""hum'' of fuel tank.no hum, check fuel pump.modern[plastic] fuel pumps will self destruct if run dry, even for a short time.

Car problems.

Ok first you must stop allowing the fuel to get low keeit at least 1/2 tank at all times because the fuel covering the fuel pump in the tank cools it and makes it last longer remember this: its much easier to fill up the top half of the fas tank than the bottom half and cheaper too here in Wa state gas is still 4$ for reg and $4.80 for premium anyway
The fast that it starts right back up makes this problem much more broad as to what it can be. Because if it were a electronic module it would have to cool a bit before it would start. Does it Idle excessivly low now as compared to the way it used to? Theck for vacuum hoses adn caps (small plugs on the drivers side rear of the top of the engine make sure none are missing or cracked to a point where there is a hole.
Also check the air intake hose for any cracks or holes rake it off and clex it and inspect closly make sure its on completely and the clamps are tight
Does this problem happen if the fuel is half or more full if tou don't know fill it up and see and keep it more than half all the time
