Question about Chrysler PT Cruiser

Does it run ok? How long since a tune-up? Can you check for applicable trouble codes? Some of the national brand auto stores will check codes for free.
All systems fluids check out ok? Be careful checking hot fluids.

SOURCE: Warning lights PT cruiser
that is likely the check engine light. if you live near an autozone they will scan it for codes (free) and that should tell you why the light came on

PO108 (map circuit high input) MAP is manifold absolute pressure... a sensor normally mounted on the intake. your code is suggesting a problem with this sensor, or its circuitry.

My PT cruiser is a couple of years older, but I had the same problem. Drove fine, but start-up was erratic for several weeks. By the time AAA arrived, it usually was working fine. But when it suddenly started "struggling for power on the freeway and further along on the same trip, lurching (on a city avenue) I drove straight to my mechanic. It WAS the same sensor . . . and car has been driving perfectly ever since he changed it.
