The fuel pump is suspect but I believe there's also a fuel filter inline on the underside of the drivers side chassis. Fuel works off pressure so if the filter is clogged, the pressure remains between the fuel tank and the filter. Once the fuel has siphoned off between the filter and injectors, it dies but because there's positive pressure at the fuel pump, it won't come on until the pressure slowly seeps past the clog after hours. It's worth a look!

I was driving my 1985 S10 and the engine cut off and wont start. I am getting fire to the plugs also the fuel pump is working, but it wont start. What might be the problem

Try some starting fluid spray. If it sputters at least, then you know it is the fuel injection. Check the wiring carefull, for harnesss unplugged.
The next thing would be the fuel pressure.
Just running is not enough.
Then check sensors like temp, air mass, etc., with ohmmeter.

2000 S10 no start

I'd use a gage and check proper fuel pressure, key on engine off, 60--66 psi with spider fuel system.
Engine cranking did you visually check for spark at the spark plugs? Engine cranking is there a fuel injector pulse?https://s8.postimg.org/50arofh11/fuel_pump.jpg
Click on the link for fuel pump relay, you can check the fuse. At the fuel pump, gray wire is voltage, black is ground.
