Question about Cars & Trucks
Hi,first I would take the belt off and check that its not worn out,if you turn the belt inside out and check for aney crackin,or just a black shiney coulor then replace,if not shore replace it aney whay, when you put the belt back on make shore its tight enogth so it dosnt slip, but not to tight as to put pressure on the bearings on the pullys.
if when you put the belt back on and the light still flashes then take it to a car spares shop and they usally check the alternater and battery for free.
hope this was some help to you,all the best.

When the battery light comes on, the alternator is not charging the battery.
Cause may be: bad alternator, loose or broken belt, connection problems (loose or broken wires).

Need to test the battery ,and the alternator for a discharge .Was a new alternator used or a reconditioned one ?? ignore the lights for the minute because they sound as though the regulator is working ,iam more concerned about the diode pack in the alternator, hence was it a new one or a recon or one from a scrappers

SOURCE: heater lights flashing
Turn it on, Put the heater on high. While the heater is on high hold down the rear wiper, rear washer and recycle air buttons (all at the same time) for 5 seconds. It will reset your heater computer.
