How do I change the remote locking key battery?

When I open the key up, the battery is inside a compartment and I can't get into it.

Remote key does not open /close door lock


Hi.
It seems that the remote key need a battery change. replace the batteri inside the remote key.

If this is not curing the problem you might be in the situation where the transmitter (remote key) or the receiver (car) is defect.
In this case you need help from Suzuki.

Remote no longer opens or locks doors. Inside manual lock does not open other doors either.


It sound like the battery has died and need replacing and them re setting to the car you key will only open the drivers door on some cars even with central locking. change the battery

I have a 2000 clk 55 amg battery is dead cant open trunk with either key and i need to jump start it or change the battery


Use emergency key inside remote,move clip on top of remote to remove blade
Insert in lock above rear no plate

Key wont' remotely lock/unlock (new batteries)


place key in ignition turn ignition to run position
hit the butons on remote it should re prog the remote
if remote got wet or dirty open up remote and clean contacts

Drivers door wont unlock by remote nor by key but can open by inside handle only. Automatic locks dont unlock either.


Can it be the battery in the remote I have a 1993 and I had to recently change the batteries, I think it was a 1620, after you change these batteries you can unlock the door, and trunk

2000 Jaguar SK8 Cant open trunk...batteries dead.


you can charge the battery from the engine compartment. check your owners manual that is the correct place to jump and to charge the battery.
