A click at idle is nothing to worry about. If it starts to be audible when you are driving, get it looked at immediately. As for the wooshing sound, chances are it is just the sound of the tires on the pavement, a lot of the time they change sound when you are turning a corner.

What is the clicking sound I have while idling. Maybe a valve or ring problem?

Likely a valve. If it only happens when idling, I wouldn't worry too much about it. Most cars do that as they get older.

Car feels like it wants to shut off

I am fairly certain it is the idle air control valve, you did not mention your mileage but idle air control valves typically wear out at about 100,000 miles to 150,000 miles.

Whooshing sound coming from front tire

Sounds like a few things. Flat spot on the tire. Something caught in the tread. Jack up the vehicle and turn the wheel by hand and see if you can recreate the sound, if you can you will find the problem.

6.0 powerstroke noise

Not the turbo on it's last legs. Check the hoses that come off of your turbo that go into the intake. Fords are famous for the hose clamps that hold the hoses in place breaking or coming loose and the woosh sound you hear is the compressed air being forced out of the hose somewhere when the turbo spools up. When this occurs you probably don't have quite the pulling torque you should. You will notice quite a drop in performance. Check the hoses or rubber boot connections from your turbo.
