SOURCE: how do i replace a offside front lower suspension arm ball joint

You need to get or rent a ball joint splitter, maybe $20? or so to buy.   Some parts stores (autozone does this, one reason i recommend them, but other stores may also) will rent you some tools for "free" when you buy parts there .. they take a big deposit in case  you bolt ... but give it all back for return of the tool in good condition.
It's easy ... if you know how to work on suspension .. if not, get a Haynes manual for your car from part store, amazon or for around $20,  the blood and busted knuckles you save due to reading it will be worth the money ;~).

SOURCE: noise from offside rear wheel when turning

If its not the bearing's then must be the brake's worn. It sounds more like bearing trouble but its easily checked. Just jack it up put a bar under the wheel and with the handbrake off lift if up if the bearing is so far gone you can hear grinding or scraping then the wheel will move up and down without the axle. It still may be the brakes on the right hand side worn but the reason I think this is unlikely is you should get the grinding sound every time you brake. The reason for the grinding is because when turning right the diff put's more preasure on the side going slowest inside wheel when turning the corner. I had a problem like this before and it was bearings in the diff so all I can advise is start with checking the wheel bearing then brakes. These are checks you can do yourself so will have no cost. Hope this help's

New rear suspension and they make noise

Caravans had a real issue with rear suspension noises, and one of the suggestions from Dodge was the addition of a spacer washer at the bottom shock mount to space it a little farther away from the axle housing. I have seen many new shocks that "knocked" right out of the box new. It is possible one of the new ones is defective

Ive got a knocking noise comin from the rear passenger side of my car

It is likely that you have worn rubber bushing in one or more of the suspension control arms, check them all. Also check for loose suspension bolts on all control arms. Have you checked the free play of the wheel?

I have a Peugeot 406 HDI on a ''Y''plate, everytime I go over a speed ramp or fall foul to a pothole on the road there is a knocking sound coming from the suspension area at the rear.

define which side the knock is coming from and replace that suspension arm would reccommend taking it to a gargae to be fitted as it may jus be the spring in which case you would need some spring compressors

Rear Suspension noise on 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee V8

Check sway bar. On some models as suspension sags, sway bar outer ends will contact the body, leaving a mark or dent just above the end, causing a bang over bumps. Only way to correct this is to change springs or add a spring lift.

Single knock sound from dead stop or when slowing down

I had the same problem on a brand new 2008 JEEP Patriot. The solution after 2 trips to the dealer was to tighten all the suspension bolts in the front. Note wether your problem is in the front or rear and go to the dealer.
