SOURCE: i am trying to find out if the wiring is in my landrover 300tdi

any aftermarket lights have to have the wire loom ran. when you run the loom make sure that it is protected and out of the way of things. also when going through any peace of steel make sure that you use a gromet so the wires don't get cut.

SOURCE: i fitted a new engine in my ford focus 1.6 tdci it

If the wire harness (loom) were the correct one (from Ford?), it should have fit perfectly. If it's not a Ford or Motorcraft part, you probably should return it and get the correct part.

My problem is finding where to connect my cocket wires into the wiringloom in the boot of my cr which is a Renault Laguna 2 2003 diesel. No one seems to have this information. Can tou help. Thank you.

Check with a tow bar fitting shop as there will be a loom that is available for this. You will remove the socket to a light assembly and fit the new loom to the light assembly . then plug the car loom into the new wiring loom and it is all set to go . IF doubtful pay a small bit and have the shop do it for you

I have a non hybrid 2012 Toyota Camry that just had the front bumper cover, drivers side fender, and the drivers side headlamp replaced due to a slight collision. After the repairs were completed the...

the wiring loom that is near the collision damage area needs to be checked. I would suggest getting insulation tape black. Then carefully cut the old insulation tape on the loom and see if there is damage to any of the wires and a possible bare wire touching another bare wire. Putting insulation tape on the bare wires if found and then retape up the wiring loom should fix the issue unless the wires are broken then you need to solder the wire togwether and then insulation tape The color of the wire at the headlight would be the wires you should look for in the loom.

How to fit a 2nd reversing light to my Vauxhall astra

using the original wiring and a new live wire. this can be used on the tow wiring loom located under the boot cover at the bottom. and a relay. wire the the new light up and place the earth wire on a good earthing point.use a wire from the reversing wire and connect to the relay switching side of the relay and use the live wire from loom for tow wire. also place a fuse on this wire 10amp will be fine. if you are using the 2nd reversing lights for a caravan etc don't use this live wire use a new wire. most wiring looms have a wire on to loom for reversing light. so check that first. it can handle 2 new lights at a maximum of 10w which is adequate for the new lights. as you have not said what year astra it is both of these should work fine. there is also a main live in the pass side rear side compartment used for electrical extras cd player etc there will be a plug with nothing connected to it. it is ignition control 25amp rating. so a 10amp fuse will be fine on this line.

1999 passat tdi automatic . All electrical windows do not work.

Hi there. You are not going to believe this, but the sister brand SEAT had this most interesting problem. Because of a fuel tank breather problem, fuel/gas was being forced up and out the fuel tank and along the length of the wiring loom and it caused all sorts of electrical problems. A new front to rear wiring loom had to be fitted after having sorted the fuel tank breather problem. Firstly, check that the fuel tank breather system is working properly - make sure that the right petrol/gas tank cap is fitted for example. It's a shot in the dark, but worth mentioning. Best regards, Scottech.

Tow bar trailer socket wiring connection point to car wiring?

The connectors for towing wire harnesses on foresters are generally on the passenger side, below the rear taillight inside the cargo space. some require pulling up the foam block that is between the spare tire compartment and the taillight. Check where you replace the tailights from inside the car, if there isn't a matching connector hanging out there, check around the spare tire compartment, see if you can remove the carpeted foam block next to the compartment and find the plug under there.

Need to install radio

This maybe due to the fact that all manufactured wiring harnesses installed in the corolla are standard looms, you will probably find that you do not have rear speakers installed, however the wires are located beneath the speaker grill by the parcel shelf. the standard corolla stereo only uses front speakers, but the loom has the ability to connect 4 speakers.most manufacturers always fit 1 standard loom as it is cheaper to install a full loom than make variations for different specs and models.check your stereo to see if it is used with 2 or 4 speakers. regards neil
