New replacement Blower does not have a ground wire, existing blower does, will the new part work without a ground wire?

Are you talking about hvac blower motor? How many pins on the blower connector, should be two, one is voltage, the other is ground.

If the new blower pigtail has only one wire, maybe it grounds through the chassis? You could use a redundant jumper wire for ground if your worried. One end of the wire goes to blower motor mounting screw, make sure it is touching bare metal, the other end of wire goes to bare metal spot on chassis.

I have a 2005 nissan maxima, while i was driving it died on me. Then a loud knocking noise from a rod started, now the car will barely run. How much to fix it?

to machine the crank and get another rod --set of big end and mains-- probably a rebore-- pistons --rings --labour Time off road- It will be cheaper to fit a reconditioned short motor so check around for one from an accredited engine remanufacturer.

Replacing big ends(bearings) on toyota corolla 1992

if you are only replacing piston big end shells , this can be done on most vehicles with sump removed , but if your bigend main bearings need to be relaced , take out the engine.which i would suggest any how , bodging doesn't always work out cheap.

Hey there 99 grand dam oil is full .but oil lamp flashes on and runs like champ starts easy has power but it sounds like a big big wheel toy rapping. as soon as i accellerate. Is it blown up or. if i...

I would say from your description that the low oil pressure is from a failed big end bearing or a main bearing. Changing the oil pump will not save it and if you continue to run the engine the end result will be a hole in the side of the block

I have a 99 dodge durango 5.9 there is barely any air coming out of any of my front vents. rear vents ok can feel it out the floor and defrost just not the ones on the dash.

The Dodge Durangos are known for blower motor problems. The blower motor is under the glove compartment/dash in the big black box, and so is the evaporator coil. There is a outside air filter that tends to wear out and break apart. Once this material breaks apart it ends up in the blower motor and can cause the motor to stop turning, or turn slower than normal. You will need to open the blower motor compartment under the dash and clean out any obstructions/trash and check the motor if it spins freely without much resistance. If it resists turning by hand or there is no trash and it still fails to work, you will need to replace this blower motor.

If the motor spins freely and there is no trash, you may just have a bad blower motor resistor or A/C control switch/panel.
