Lift the bar located under the front seat to unlock it. Slide the seat to where you want it and release the bar. Then try to move the seat with your body to make sure the seat is locked into place.

I would look real careful under the seat and make sure that there is nothing obstructing the movement. Also check the tracks that it sleds on for pennies or anything else blocking it as well.

Power driver's seat will not work.checked fuse

If I were you I would take a good look under the seat to make sure nothing fell and got lodged in the tracks and while I was there check the connecters move them around unplug look for bad connections while pushing the botton.
Chances are there is nothing really wrong with if the fuse didn't blow and its relitively new

Manually move power seats

Not really a cheap way to fix it. You have a motor and cables that turn to move the seat. The motor and cables would need to be removed to allow the seat to move, then there would be nothing to keep the seat in place unless you put the motor back.
A manual seat uses a latch and slotted track to move the seat and lock in place.

Why won't 2002 maxima seat go forward or backward? Can hear the motor and nothing stuck on track

I would say the cables or rods that go from the motor to the gears are broke or stripped.

Driver's side front seat won't move

It is likely the gear on the motor came off track with the seat. The seat will have to be removed and bottom panel disassembled.
