Reset alarm

I can only suggest one thing that might work.

Disconnect the battery and leave the car overnight. In the morning put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position and then connect the battery.

If that doesn't work you will need the services of an auto locksmith or the dealer. I hope the price you paid for the car was much reduced because of the missing keychain.

How can i disarm the factory security alarm.i have tried the key locks. i have no remote with the car. i didnt know it had an alarm when i bought it . 1995 chrysler cirrus

Here is what I do on my 95 Cirrus I also do not have a keyless remote (well I do but is broke) and after frustation after frustation trying to disarm the factory alarm I find out that by unlocking the passenger front door with the ignition key from the outside will disarm it you may have to try few times before it's disarmed you need to make sure that the blinking red light stops blinking and all of the locks on all 4 door are up or unlocked, this is what I been doing for 3 years now and that's how I disarm the alarm on my car, I hope this helps.

Parking lights are blinking off and on after it's been shut off for at least 2 hours. We had to put in a new battery last week, and today my husband put in new wire and plugs.

set the anti theft, then disarm it,and see if the problem is gone, make sure the doors and the hood and trunk are closed, and locked when setting the alarm.

Antitheft alarm on our 2001 mercury sable goes off on its own

Get a new car! JK - my 2002 Sable does the same thing. It can be 5 times a day then not for a month, or 2-3 times a day for a week straight. It happens in different locations and different weather and different times of the day. To my knowledge has never done it in my garage at home.
I have not called a dealer. Has anybody ever found the real problem? Could it be in the remote itself? I tried leaving it unlocked at work, but yesterday it went off just as I was reaching toward the door handle.
