See if you can access the trunk through the rear seat back being removed. The option is drill out the trunk lock and fit a new lock afterwards.

Disconnect battery,remove lower dash driver side,[caution] unplug yellow wire should say air bag..look on column 4 screw that holds shift indicator,note position of it,It may just clip on be careful not to pull on it or let it git caught on any thing,2 15mm nut gold or silver remove lower steering column plug switch 2- 1/4 or 5/16 hold switch in place ,,re place ageist ,,,hope this is some help let us know ,PS first I would check fuse link at starter and crank fuse ,you can git A book from the liberty. usually in a day or two.....best ..
