I would check the fuel filte (low pressure for start up) . When was the last time you did a tune up? Also, the key cylinder could be warn...I would take it to a dealeship, and instead of guessing, they could pun point what the fault is

Is the check engine light lit ? What engine does yours have ? No I wouldn't think the PCM is going bad . I would have it checked out by a ASE certified technician . It could be a lot of thing's but I would check out the fuel system ! You could try this , before you try to start it turn the key on a few times to the run position ,prime the fuel system .if this helps you need new fuel pump assembly ! The fuel pump and sender assembly contains a reverse flow check valve. The check valve and the fuel pressure regulator maintain fuel pressure in the fuel feed pipe and the fuel rail in order to prevent long cranking times.

I'd get the OBD codes read , could be one or more of several things the OBD codes should pinpoint the sensor/switch at fault , at a guess i'd say the crank sensor but the OBD will be more precise, keep me posted if you wish

Try turning the key on an off several times . There is a check valve inside the fuel pump module that is suppose to keep pressure in the fuel lines . This check valve being bad could cause this problem . When you first turn the key on the PCM - engine computer energize's the fuel pump for two seconds to prime the system , but if the check valve is bad ,2 seconds isn't enough . If that doesn't do anything your best to have scan data viewed like in these videos . 011 Fuel System Tests Fuel System Scan Data

2002 chevy trailblazer and it will not crank or start and the key has gotten stuck in the ignition. I also got a jumpstart and it still didn't start. What is wrong, Please?

Could be a number of thing's , can you do automotive electrical testing ? Do you know if starting is PCM / ECM controlled or BCM controlled ? Do you know what these are ? BCM - body control module , PCM/ECM - engine computer !
Moving the ignition switch to the START position sends a 12-volt signal to the engine control module (ECM)/powertrain control module (PCM) Crank Request circuit. The ECM/PCM verifies that the transmission is in the PARK or NEUTRAL position. With the transmission in Park, voltage flows through the Park/Neutral position switch and feeds the starter relay coil. The PCM then grounds the control circuit of the starter relay. When the starter relay is energized it allows battery positive voltage to the starter solenoid S terminal. On some vehicles the starter will continue to crank the engine with the key released until it starts or the crank command has timed out to prevent excessive heat build up in the starter circuitry or the ECM/PCM receives an engine run flag.
Circuit Description (BCM Controlled)
Moving the ignition to the START position signals the body control module (BCM) that engine crank has been requested. The BCM verifies that theft is not active and sends a serial data message to the powertrain control module (PCM) requesting engine start. The BCM also energizes the RUN/CRANK RELAY. When the RUN/CRANK RELAY switch side closes, and the vehicle is in Park or Neutral or with the clutch is fully depressed, if equipped, supplies voltage to the starter relay coil. The PCM verifies the transmission is in Park or Neutral and the clutch is fully depressed, if equipped. The PCM will then ground the control circuit of the starter relay, closing the switch supplying voltage to the starter solenoid. On some vehicles the starter will continue to crank the engine with the key released until it starts of the crank command has timed out to prevent excessive heat build up in the starter circuitry or the PCM receives an engine run flag.
Do you know what a park neutral safety switch is ? What do you mean key stuck in ignition ? Can't turn the key to off position , or you can an the key will not come out ?
Your best bet , take it to a qualified repair shop .

2008 Ford Expedition el limited sometimes starts great but most times does nothing when try to start everything still comes on and has power but does not turn overrun less I keep turning keys off and back...

Could be the key switch, or the starter, or another component.
You would need to check for power at the starter terminals when the key is in the start position.

attempt to start the truck, if it does not turn over leave the key in the run position for 10 minuets the light should go out. turn key off then try and start again, if it still does not start you will have to repeat the 10 min key on 3 times before attempting to start you need to insure your battery has sufficient charge for this length of time or hook it to a charger prior to beginning

2004 trailblazer problems

Check for OBD2 codes, primarily a code indicating PCM memory is corrupt. My Trailblazer at times wouldn't turn over and start. Nothing at the key. When you attempt to start the vehicle and you turn the key to the start position, the PCM sends a signal to the starter relay to start the engine. Youtube video showed a mechanic warming the PCM with a hair dryer, and it would start. Tried it on mine and it started fine. If it is the PCM, the remedy is PCM replacement. Got mine from pcmforless.com about $100.00. They had to program the new PCM with the vehicle vin number. Once installed no more problems.

A light on dash with a wrench next to a cup with a drop of liquid.

That is your computer's determination that it's time to change the oil. It will do that from time to time.
Want to turn the light off???
Do this....Turn key to ON, and depress the accelerator pedal to the floor 3 times within 10 seconds.
The oil change light will flash several times and then go off. Turn key off, and then start engine. the light should be off now.

How to reset the check engine on a 208 chevy

Just disconnect the battery (negative terminal) and turn the headlight switch on for about 15 minutes. This should reset the PCM. Otherwise go to Advance and have them hookup the code reader and reset the codes. Thanks

2003 Trailblazer- no power after key stuck in ignition

Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.

2008 nissan sentra has occasional starting issues. this has happened 4 times since we bought the car. car runs fine, sometimes will not start when key is turned. everything is dead....no lights inside, no...

Could be bad battery or Somthing going on with the main fuse box.  Another thing to check is your ground wires.  If they are loose, you can not complete the circut.
