I have had several such problems in my shop. the customer has so many keys on their keyring that it wears out the ignition switch.

A bad crank sensor will cause engine to cut out, or in the wiring. God-Bless! Is the check engine light on! A bad crank sensor will cause the light to come on. Also will a bad camshaft sensor. So if the light is on go to a auto parts store and they will scan for free, to find the problem code.

I personally would check the fuel pressure. Then I would go back to the coil. I have seen brand new bad coils out of the box. The symptoms of a loss of power point to this component, especially if the car idles well, but loses power when accelerating. Please do not rate this reply - we all are left to grasp at straws since you have changed pretty much everything. Good Luck. Please post the final fix of the problem.

Your problem is a leak in the cpi pletium most likely the pressure line has a leak
had same problem with mine $45.00 PRESSURE LINE KIT AND $15.00 GASKET FOR PLETIUM and 2 hours labor problem sovled.
You can remove vortec cover and remove air regulator to look inside pletium. I had gas vapor on driver side . that is where fuel lines are. fuel regulator is on passenger side. turn key on and look in hole and see where fuel is spraying. taking pletium off you can again turn key on and make sure where fuel is coming from.

It sounds like you have a security problem, I had the same thing it would fire and run for half of a second and then that was it if anything at all. Had the security system rebooted, now it starts and runs fine.
