How do I switch a crankshaft

Disconnect the battery. Remove the spark plugs. You will need to remove the engine and transmission from the vehicle (unless you have a lift, in which case you only need to remove the transmission.). Separate the engine and transmission. Remove the flex plate (flywheel). Remove the serpentine belt and crankshaft pulley. Remove the timing cover, timing chain, and crankshaft timing gear. Remove the oil pan. You may have to remove the oil pump for clearance. Remove the rod bearing caps. Keep them in proper sequence. Remove the main bearing caps. Keep them in proper sequence. Remove the crankshaft.

You will need new rod and main bearings to replace those already in the vehicle. You will need a new oil pan gasket and timing cover gasket set. Depending upon mileage and age, you may want to replace the timing gears, chain and guides. You must know all proper torque values for the crank and rod bearing caps, flex plate, and timing cover.

As you can well see, this is not a job for the auto DIY novice.

2003 Honda Odyssey driver power seat cushion has two adjustments. One for the front to raise up and down and one for the back to raise up and down. From observation, there is a white plastic rod that is...

Honestly I am not familair with this item however, this rod ould appear to be a drive line, being plastic it may be reapirable with a $6 plastic repair kit, it is in a syringe that adds part1 and 2 then you mix it and let it set, it works very well, however, it broke for a reason, find out why first as this may be a futile effort.
Lastly, your Honda dealer or European dismantler should be able to supply this piece.
Good luck

My 2003 Honda Accord failed inspection because of minimal sway to the front driver wheel. I was told it's the inner tie rod and that I should also have the outer tie rod done at the same time. Then I would...

Interesting. First of all, I have never heard of such a thing being included on safety inspection. It almost sounds like your repair facility trying to drum up work. Secondly, most tie rods can be repaired by simply changing the ends. And yes, if you do this proceedure, an alignment is in order. I hope you find this very helpful!
