Your auto parts store should have a repair manual. or try filepeep.com if they have it or manualslib.com

SOURCE: How do you remove the heater core for a 2002

the dealer quote is over a grand, but from my understanding you can remove the glove box compartment and not have to go through the whole dash being taken apart.. not an hours job by any means but supposebly doable..

SOURCE: 2000 mitsubishi mirage. cannot get

Is the blower fan working? If so, Is the heater control valve(valve that allows coolant to to to the heater) working? Its electronic and has been known to fail. Its located at the base of the heater hose and has a couple of wires attached to it. If that is bad, you can get one at the auto parts store, and replace it yourself. Hope this helps.

How do I open my hood for my 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage? I have a broken hood release. Thanks!

Go under the dash and cut back the cover over the inner steel core that is the release cable, with a pair of locking pliers pull on that one core to release the hood.

How to change a heater core

remove the glove box, possibly the dash board and take it out from the inside of the cars cabin - you will have other things to do like drain coolant, etc., etc..

Get a haynes or chiltons repair manual (also available to take out from your local library for free 0 but call ahead to be sure it is there first! that will give you complete step by step diy -- also chiltons is more detailed

Best regards

Need to replace the water pump on my 1997 mitsubishi mirage? Are there other components that need to be changed

If nothing in the cooling system has been touched in the life of the vehicle, you should have the cooling system flushed, new thermostat and new hoses (upper/lower radiator hoses and input/output heater core hoses). A new belt probably wouldn't hurt, but it all depends on the maintenance history of the car.

I have a mitsubishi mirage,a water has appear at

If you can see the leak and it is the hose it is an easy fix. If the leak can't be traced to the hose it is your heater core, which would need to go to a mechanic. If this has helped you, please leave me good feedback.
