Their are useuly more then one but they come off high amparge big wires .pig tails that come off the battery main power .
They are fuses however it takes a big voltage problem to blow them
Their 12 gauge wire or lower and resistance wire you can tell by testing for resistance with an ohm's meter should be little to no resistance but a lot of times you can feel the wire with your thumb and for finger and if the jacket moves and looks distorted its bad .
Remember you have to use the same kind of wire resistance wire or the next time if ever you will do a lot of damage if the vehicle dosn't catch unfire and burn up first .

It depends on the vehicle. It is usually on a feed off the positive battery terminal.

If it is bad, it should be black and crusty or swollen.

Let me know the vehicle and I will narrow down where it is located for you.

How do I figure out why there's NO electrical power ?

Year make and model helps. Fusible links are usually close to the battery or down at the starter. Newer vehicles don't have fusible links.

How remove f link from fuse box in 97 corolla

Hi. The fusible links are the big fuses located in the fuse box. The exact location of the fuses depend on the engine and on the version of the car. In 1997 Toyota built series
7 Corolla. At the end of 1997 Series 8 was introduced. in the year 1997 both models with different engines were distributed. There are up to 4 fusible links (big fuses ranging from 30 Amp towing protector to 100 Amps) See here.
Low amps fusible links are also in passenger compartment.
The fusible links are simply fuses and can get replaced using long nose pliers.

Below I have published the fuse diagrams covering Toyota series 7 (1993 to 1997) models.

The fusible links can be purchased here.
The site also includes schematics.

In case the car is a series 8 (late 1997), here service manual for series 8.

Here a fuse link for Corolla 1997, color may vary depending on amps, the one below is low amp current 30A, 100A is usually blue and 40A green, there may be black fuses with no color code:

Where is a fusible relay located on a 98 grand prix gt?

there is no such thing as a fusible relay, there are relays and they are located inside the car some under the dash on driverside and some on the pass/side and then there are relays under the hood in engine compartment inside the fuse/relay box, this acar also has a fusible link or two, this is like a peice of wire but inside the wire will blow like a fuse and the only way to test is with a test light you would need to see if power runs the lengh of that link wire, these are located by the battery and then in the fuse /relay box and on the starter sometimes, the ones in the fusebox under the hood may also be metal type, heres a few picture to show you a few types of fusible links,johnjohn2_51.jpgjohnjohn2_52.jpgjohnjohn2_53.jpg

2005 chevy tahoe battery was hooked up backward !! Not me ! But, Where do I start ?

Start by checking all of the fuses and all of the fusible link wires, and you will know a fusible link wire when you find one because they will stretch similar to a rubber band. Fusible link wires are usually located at the fuse/relay junction box in the engine compartment, or at the starter solenoid, or sometimes at the fire-wall. Also check the fuse/relay junction box for any PAL type of fusible links.

Getting fire but fuel pump aint running

Check the fuel pump relay/fuse.

Circuit Protection The fuse box is located low on the left side of the dashboard behind a cover, or at the left side kick panel, behind a cover.
Fusible links are located in a holder next to the battery.
The fuse panel is located behind a snap-off cover in front of the driver's left knee.
Fusible links are sections of wire, with special insulation, designed to melt under electrical overload. Replacements are simply effected by removing the old unit and inserting the new into the block. Fusible links are identified by the color of their housing.

Also, your fuel pump may be bad. Check the fuse/relay first.
