Question about Cars & Trucks
Its likely a weak battery if you have a hood light that was on when you replaced the water pump it could have drained it enough over a peirod time .
But that means the battery was weak in the first place. You can test the cells for speific gravity with a little tester you can buy one bad cell is all it takes or put it on a slow 2 amp charge with a battery charger or try to jump start it off another vehicle
Honestly I would check the battery before I tryed to jump it .It could damage the other vehicles electrical system if their is some problem with yours .

That indicates either a weak battery or a defective starter .try jump starting it

Replace fuel filter if it has not been done in a while. Also check fuel pump pressure with a gauge and compare with spec. When key is turned "on" the computer turns on fuel pump via relay. If the computer does not see rpm signal (engine start) within approx. 2 seconds it turns the fuel pump back off. Cycling the key often helps to build up fuel pressure sufficient to start when filter is plugged or pump pressure is weak.

I would suspect that you pulled a wire off when you were installing the water pump. Check to see if you have spark

SOURCE: how can i determine if
If you squeeze the upper radiator hose and it feels like the coolant is running thru it, your pump is working. The system should bleed itself within a few minutes if you keep the radiator and reservoir full. If it continues to bubble, you have a blown head gasket. :-(

clogged radiator. Pull off upper hose and run water through it via hose and see if it flows out bottom of radiator. If flow is good, try flushing engine like this and see if it is blocked. Also, make sure you have it full of fluid and if you can, bleed air out of it.
