SOURCE: temperature gage rises and engine overheats.

The next thing to do is to observe the car as it idles for 10 minutes to ensure the electric radiator fan is coming on if not replace the fan relay if that doesn't work replace the coolant temp. sensor that activates the relay that activates the fan after that ti can only be the fan itself that is if the fan is not coming on.

WHEN DRIVING UP HILL, TEMP GAGE ALMOST AT THE TOP.

If no hose leaks and engine coolant is fine in radiator. I would say its a faulty thermostat. A malfunctioning thermostat would result in temperature fluctuations throughout the operation of the engine. God-Bless!

My car temp dosnt go up idk if the thermostats stuck shut or not??if how do i unstick it?

if the temp gage doesn`t go up you could have a gage problem or even a coolant sensor problem that works the gage only and not the one that sends a signal to the pcm to turn on the cooling fans and monitor the engine temperature,if it is the thermostat then it will be stuck open and the only way to correct the problem is to replace the thermostat other wise it can stick open again or closed causing the engine to overheat.

located the temp sending unit check that its pluged in, if it is unplug it and ground the wire to something metal (with the switch on) and see if the gauge moves if it does then your temp sending unit is bad and needs replaced
