There has to be an electrical issue with the fuel pump or the injector(s) are not working. Take the plug off of the injector and hook a 12v test light across the wiring harness plug. When cranking the engine the test light will flash if power to the injector. If light flashes and you don't have fuel, the injector is bad or there is no fuel supply to it. If light doesn't flash, make sure there is power on one of the terminals of the wire harness plug end. The computer supplies ground to the other terminal. Make sure there is power to fuel pump. Is there a schrader valve ( Looks like metal car tire valve with a black cap on it) located on the fuel line? If so depress the inner valve with a small screwdriver and check for fuel pressure

Sorry this vehicle does not have a fuel shut off switch or inertia switch > that's ford ! If you pour fuel in the throttle body an it runs It's something with the fuel system , an if you replaced the pump an filter an regulator , It has to be electrical ! did you check voltage at the fuel pump relay ? What engine does yours have , 2.5 , 3.3 L ? There is a in line fuse for the fuel pump near the relay ! There are four relays front right of engine compartment mounted on radiator support cross member . The one for fuel pump is the one on the inside . Fuse is near there an there is a connector not connected to anything ,this is for fuel pump prime . Jump battery voltage to it a see if it runs then ! or replace relay !

It is most likely caused by the fuel pump shut off or inertia switch located most likely in the trunk on the drivers side beside the trunk hinge if not there in the passenger side floorboard next to the kick panel where the right foot would sit. this is a switch installed by the factory in case of an accident it shuts off the fuel pump

I cannot find a fuel pump shut off switch and according to a few body shops that I spoke with there isn't one. I have 48 lbs of pressure. If there was one I would not get a pressure or so they say. When I pump the gas pedal hard it will try to start but does not keep going. how about a bad MAP sensor?

Have you confirmed there is actually fuel reaching the fuel injector? If so , is the injector being supplied with a power and a ground to properly operate?

Code F48 is for low freon in the ac, and code F49 is for the computer turning off the ac compressor because the pressure is too high or the engine temp is too high. So neither code would have a direct effect on the engine running.
You may have to get a mechanic involved that can watch the data stream coming into the computer and check the exhaust gas to see if it is too rich or too lean.

You've already eliminated the spark plug & wireset, distributor cap & rotor.
Sounds like your car needs a tune-up, specifically, the PCV (positive crankcase ventilation) valve, and/of the EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) valve.

Components checked/replaced during a tune-up are:
air filter
motor oil
motor oil filter
breather filter
fuel filter(s)
fuel strainer
PCV valve
EGR valve
spark plugs
spark plug wires
ECM or distributor cap & rotor
cabin air filter
transmission oil filter
transmission oil
engine coolant
check all vacuum hoses and lines

Troubleshooting the no-start condition - from the 1990 Mitsu Mighty Max Repair Manual:

Car turns over...no fuel to the engine....

Check when starting if the fuel pump runs. If it does not, check the wiring. If you are sure with the relay and its terminals, it may be the car's computer module that may be bad. If the fuel pump runs during start, check if fuel runs to the engine after the fuel filter. If it is a new fuel filter, check if the fitting or connections are correct. If there is fuel after the fuel filter, it may be the injectors since fuel goes to the engine. Also related to the fuel being injected to the combustion chamber is the MAP sensor which measures the air in the intake and tells the engine how much fuel is needed. Check for the intake from the air filter for holes or tears. Check for loose vacuum hoses.

95 should have an electronic pump alot of times if u take off the gas cap have some one turn the key to on accessorys you can hear the pump kick on,also remove the filter turn the key on see if the gas makes its way down the line or check at the intake(fuel injectors)

I have a 88 Fiero GT V6 that has sat for over a year without starting. I put in 5 gallons of gas, and used starting fluid. Starts, but only keeps running while fuel is poured into intake. I suspect water...

1) Running fuel pump to remove water from tank will likely not empty it all, but it might help. Will still be some liquid in bottom of tank.

2) More than likely, the gas has gummed up and is no good, While your draining of the tank will help, may still need to change the fuel filter and clean the injectors. The ability to keep engine running while pouring into the intake is a good sign, but mayfind that more parts need to be cleaned and replaced prior to solving the problem.

Fuel pump problem

The vehicle is a 1950? If so it will have a strainer in the tank. You can remove the gas cap, the supply line to the pump and blow compressed air back to the tank. It will blow this strainer off. If you do this then you will need to install an in line filter to catch any trash before the carb. Also sometimes it is hard to get a mechanical pump to pick up fuel after replacement, so it may be necessary to pour a small amount of gas in the carb. Good Luck.

its the electrical connection at he fuel pump,if this is ok ask if they replaced the strainer on your fuel pump, your fuel pump is inside your gas tank ,you have to drop the tank to service, most fuel pumps are not warrantied if you dont change the strainer, when your car shuts off the sediment on the strainer falls back into the tank, but when you run your car and it sucks up the gas thru the strainer to the pump it clogs the strainer and the fuel pump cant pump, you shoiuld find out if they changed this because your forcing your fuel pump to work harder, was it a new fuel tank or used one that they put in
