What kind of vehicle? The engine is flooding if fuel is entering the oil. You may have 1 or more cylinders not firing properly causing lack of power and the unburned fuel will contaminate the oil

A few problems with my 92 buick regal. 1. Doesn't always start on the first try and I have to give it some gas when I turn the key. 2. Courtesy lights and chime won't turn off when key is ou

The no start on the first try could be low fuel pressure. The check valve in the pump may be letting fuel drain back into the tank, or the pump relay may be bad. The pump gets power from the relay when you turn the key on, then from the oil pressure switch once the engine starts.

My impala has been missing. No lights have come on the dash. I tried changing gas and using gas cleaner but that doesn't solve the problem.

Have you tried changing your oil? Depending on the outside temperature, you will also have to use a different viscosity.

Check the crankshaft position sensor. Old oil (infrequently changed) can foul them up. The sensor has to "see" certain points on the crankshaft. Dirty or bad oil can prevent the "seeing" from occuring. You can turn the key all you want, it will crank but never start. Sometimes, when the sludge settles, it will run again. If this solves your problem, you seriously need an engine flush and then frequently change your oil. Clean oil is more importaint than most people realize. hope this helps.
