My 2001 saturn sl1 front end clunk when driving

You have not described it very well so it could be a number of different items.

If it sounds like a rotational clunk the it will possibly be the CV joints that need replacing.

If it is not a rotational type clunk then it will most likely be a suspension component. It could be as simple as a worn suspension bushing that it allowing metal to metal contact or something much more significant in the front suspension system.

Without physically checking the vehicle it is difficult to be more definitive but needless to say you must have it checked out and the cause identified.

69k miles, has developed a metallic pop or clunk sounds like left front wheel when turning left.

Even with intact boots, the problem is still most likely in the CV joint. Another possibility is depending on the type of clunk sound, the strut mount can also cause noise upon turning.

I have a Kia grand carnival 2007 everytime we go over a bump, driveway or even a roundabout the front of the car makes a clunking sound.

have the front wheel bearings , top and bottom ball joints , steeering track rod joints ,suspension top/bottom mounts checked for wear , tightness etc , try pushing down on the front end a few times to make vehicle go up and down , does this make the same noise , if it does it would indicate the suspension is the issue , keep me posted if you wish

Clunk clunking in the front end,

Have you checked for a big can wrapped around your front axel? Seriously, This could be anything from brakes, to axel, to suspension. Could be simple or major you need to have it looked at... Good luck

How are the motor mounts? After all that work, you are down to only a few things it could be. good luck. Look for any bent suspension pieces. Does it have a sway bar up front? Check linkage and bushings on that.

I would have your cv axles inspected. When these are going out it will make a clunking/knocking sound as well.

My 85 f150 is making a clunking noise when driving down the road. Sounds like it's coming from the front. The clunk starts when you start moving and and the clunking increases the faster you move. No...

Possible broken belt in one of your tires. Move the 2 front tires to the rear, see if the problem follows the tires. Or run your hand around the circumference of the tires to feel for a bulge. Other, more expensive problems could be in the suspension. A-arm bushings, or wheel bearings.

Squeking sound and loud clunking sound when i accelerate the gas pedal. sounds like it's coming from the front driver side wheel.

not enough info for diagnosis, Try putting bar soap and check tension of fanbelts for squeaking noise of the belts as a cause. The clunk maybe worn or damaged suspension components, cv joints or even worn or broken motor mounts. Start with these items...
