Driver door sensor light not working

It may be the sensor switch. I replaced one on an Audi which was built into the door latch and I vaguely recall at the time that VWs are similar. If you don't have a visible switch somewhere along the door frame, it's probably built right into the door latch and it appears they wear out fairly often. If that's the case, you'll need to pull the door panel off, remove the latch assembly and replace. You may need to replace the entire latch assembly if the switch itself isn't replaceable.

The message "right rear door ajar" comes on and

This is very common, the door ajar switch is no good . the switch is located inside the door and is part of the latch, but it can be replaced spreate, you will not have to replace the latch, on some models you would need to replace the latch inorder to replace switch, on this model i think you can buy the switch form dealer, you will need to remove the door panel and the latch to replace the switch, heres a diagram to help you locate the switch, hope this helps.

My car door won't shut and lock. How can i get it

You may need a new latch assembly. Tr y prying a screwdriver in the old lock to see if it will fully closed upon forcing it. If it does latch you do need a new one. They generally wear out if the door hinges need attention or replaced. If the hinges are not tended too in about a year the latch wears out too

Rear passenger door will not open

If the door won't open from either the inside or outside than there is a problem with the latch assembly or alignment. You can use the other rear door to see how the child lock works. Meanwhile, you'll have to remove the door panel on the right rear door from inside the vehicle. Then you can reach inside with a screwdriver and flashlight and work the latch free. Once you get it open you can further diagnose if it is alignment or a faulty latch assembly. It's not going to be easy getting the door panel off from inside or working the latch to release. I hope this helps.
